All course credits for this certificate program are applicable to the Master of Science in Human Resource Development (MSHRD) at Indiana State. Some credits may also apply toward the Scott MBA program.

Admission Requirements and Application Instructions
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for admission; however, meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.
- Must hold a baccalaureate degree granted by a regionally accredited institution (for international students, a degree granted by a recognized institution).
- Must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7 in all undergraduate coursework or a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in all courses taken at the graduate level.
- Must submit current resume or curriculum vitae.
- Must submit a one-page statement of intent, a written statement of the applicant's reasons for entering the HRD Program
The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is not required for admission to this program.
Application Instructions
Returning Indiana State students must apply for re-admission if they have not attended Indiana State University for more than two calendar years.

Submit a nonrefundable application fee of $45.00 (or $65.00 for international students) payable by Visa, MasterCard, or check or money order to Indiana State University. Submit payment to: Indiana State University, Graduate Admissions, Welcome Center, 318 North Sixth Street, Terre Haute, IN, 47809.
Submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended. To be official, transcripts must be sent directly from the college attended to: Graduate Admissions, Indiana State University, Welcome Center, 318 North Sixth Street, Terre Haute, IN, 47809. Submit the following as part of the online application process.
- A current resume or curriculum vitae.
- A one-page statement of intent, a written statement of the applicant’s reasons for entering the HRD online graduate certificate program.
International applicants must meet the University requirements for English proficiency.
Accepted language tests include Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Duolingo.

Application deadlines for the online graduate certificate in Human Resource Development are August 1 for the Fall term and December 1 for the Spring term. Processing of applications typically takes fewer than 30 days.

Next Steps
Once admitted, you will receive notification from the University and will be provided your University ID number, which is needed to activate your University username on the MyISU Portal. The Portal offers access to online registration, University records, and other important services, including e-mail and University announcements.
